  1. It's my daughter's 5th birthday and I was hoping to use this as a party favors idea! Revlon "Lip Butters" are slightly out of my price range for a big group of kiddos though, do you have a suggestion for a more "bargain brand"? My daughter is especially a huge fan of Elsa from "Frozen," and it'd be lovely if you could recommend a lip butter color for that theme!! Much love :-)

  2. Hi Leela,

Thanks for all your comments. The most affordable bargain brand that has decent quality lip products in my opinion is e.l.f, any of their lip products range from $1-$3 each. http://www.eyeslipsface.com/elf/lips/gloss/hypershine_gloss This lip gloss in the color Blossom matches Elsa's soft lip color, but if you explore e.l.f they have a wide range of lip glosses and lipsticks. Depending on the picture, Elsa can have very soft pink lips or a more bold purple-y color. The Revlon lip butter color I would pick for an Elsa look would be the Berry Smoothie, which goes on light raspberry color but can be built up to be a darker more purple shade! Strawberry shortcake if you just want the soft pink tone. That's just my opinion, hope it helps and Happy Birthday to your daughter! :)

  3. Thank you for replying!! I was dreading that this blog was discontinued, but I'm glad you took the time to research and reply me. I decided to check back on my post since my daughter's party is this Saturday. Thank you for your wishes and suggestions, I will be going with the "Berry Smoothie" for my daughter, and the "e.l.f." products for the rest of the kiddos. Hope to see you continue this blog, I will continue to support this site and refer the neighborhood mothers to it. xoxo!
