Have some edge on a fancy night out inspired by the Red Queen in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Using the same color scheme as the Red Queen, wear a red blouse with red accessories matched with black jeggings to capture a darker feeling. But add a cream or gold colored blazer to lighten the mood a little. Add some spunk by wearing a lace up short boot with heels, to capture the same fire as the Red Queen, just don't become as sassy as her.

    Boy am I glad that I bookmarked this page! I really did not think it would be possible to draw inspiration from the Red Queen. But I did manage to piece together an outfit for my date tonight! I used a red blouse but switched out jeggings for a "hip" pair of jeans.

    And I definitely made sure I wasn't as sassy as the Red Queen L.O.L.! :-)
