With St. Patrick's Day right around the corner, why not go green and try out a Princess and the Frog inspired outfit? This outfit is a casual day out in the park or at a picnic style. Focused on the color scheme seen in Princess and the Frog, this outfit highlights natural outdoorsy colors such as greens, browns and tans. The important thing to draw from Princess Tiana is to choose an outfit that makes you feel free and comfortable. When going outdoors, you don't want an outfit that is fragile or too fancy.

Accessory Focus: Headbands

There is no doubt that headbands are a classic and iconic accessory, but after a nice break, they are finally making a comeback!

Nicole Richie               Vanessa Hudgens
You can leave your hair down and tease the back part of your hair to create a bohemian look, similar to the one Jasmine has.

Lauren Conrad            Leighton Meester
...Or you can use a bow to create a cute and fun look. Keep your hair down for a more girly touch, or put it up to make a big fashion statement. Whether a darker color similar to Alice's or a bold red color such as Snow White.

....Or go big or go home with the thick headband paired with an updo or short hair style to create a elegant evening look similar to Cinderella's!

How to make Spirited Away's soot ball earrings

1. Using black clay, roll the ball into a small ball around 2 cm in diameter.
2. Using a dotting tool, paint two white dots using white paint to start the eyes.
3. Using a toothpick, make two black dots on the white to finish off the eyes.
4. Earring hooks or studs can be purchased at most crafts stores. Using these, pierce the hook through the soot ball, or if making studs, use hot glue to attach to the earring.

Inspired by Chihiro in Hayao Miyazaki's film Spirited Away, this outfit follows the colors worn by Chihiro as she works in the bathhouse. This outfit can be worn on any spring day out, or perhaps an outdoor wedding. Capture Chihiro's innocence with light colors, with a modest white cardigan. The cherry blossom print wallet and earrings capture the Japanese culture of Spirited Away.

Belle inspired

This gown inspired by the iconic yellow Beauty and the Beast dress captures the same sleeves and skirt as the one in the movie. The flow of the full skirt reminds us of the dancing scene in the movie, while the draping mirrors that in the actual dress.

Snow White Inspired

Covered by apple blossoms, this Snow White dress highlights the apple aspect of the fairy tale. The dress is elegant with its flowy skirt and intricate detailing of the flowers. The dress really captures the innocence of Snow White in this dress, perfect for a cute spring wedding.

Other princess inspired dresses include: Ariel, Jasmine, Cinderella, Tiana, Sleeping Beauty, and Rapunzel. He has two collections of Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Cinderella, Tiana, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White.

Mirror Mirror vs. Snow White and the Huntsman

With two versions of Snow White releasing in theaters in the same summer, it is time we compare the choices of makeup and outfits in the two films.

Here is a quick video describing the differences in the films.

Mirror Mirror directed by Tarsem Singh sets a more comedic tone, with vibrant costumes and bright make-up. Snow White, played by Lily Collins flaunts a bright blue Victorian inspired dress and bright red lips in the movie poster. Her short-banged dark hairstyle captures the elegance of Audrey Hepburn, as her dark eyebrows highlight her thin face. Her rose colored blush brings us all back to the Snow White we all know and love, made famous by Disney. But most importantly, her look features the iconic bright red lipstick, practically popping out of the movie poster.

Singh's Snow White differs drastically from Rupert Sander's Snow White and the Huntsman, which has Twilight grunge star Kristen Stewart playing Snow White. Similar to Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland released last year, Snow White plays the role of a strong female heroine, which probably explains why Sanders swapped Snow White's iconic bright blue and yellow poofy shouldered dress for a short dark brown lace-up dress, black leggings and black boots-although there is a slight poof in the shoulders-- and don't forget the shiny silver armor! Sanders ditches the iconic red lip, rosey cheeks and goes for neutral tones, with a nude lip and minimal make-up. We can only wait to see if this bold choice helps or hurts the connection audience image of Snow White.

Although based on the same classic fairy tale, these movies are clearly very different, with very different fashion choices. Singh chose to highlight vibrant colors and elaborate avante-garde Victorian dresses, while Sanders chose to play with the dark theme and make use of his suede browns and golds. We can only wait and see which audience seem to like more!

Let's bring it back old school with this Snow White inspired day outfit. The bright colors celebrate the history of Snow White by being Disney's first colored cartoon. Match Snow White's red headband with one of your own. The headband and necklace along with the big red purse give the outfit a burst of vibrant color.

Have some edge on a fancy night out inspired by the Red Queen in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Using the same color scheme as the Red Queen, wear a red blouse with red accessories matched with black jeggings to capture a darker feeling. But add a cream or gold colored blazer to lighten the mood a little. Add some spunk by wearing a lace up short boot with heels, to capture the same fire as the Red Queen, just don't become as sassy as her.
